I'm a Chicago based musician and visual artist who creates and performs in multiple capacities and styles, fusing the relationship between nature and technology in a uniquely organic and psychedelic aesthetic. 

 

I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2010 with a degree in Audio Design and Production.  After graduating, I worked on countless music and visual projects in the Chicago area on both the production and performance side of the art. 

 

Notably, I worked as a sound engineer and performed on Bass/Chapman Stick and Zither/Guitar with Blue Man Group Chicago from 2012-2025.

 

From 2021-2024, I animated and art directed the podcast series CHINWAG featuring actor Paul Giamatti and philosopher Stephen Asma. 

 

From 2024 to 2025 I worked as video designer, music composer, and AR creator for renowned Native American artist Virgil Ortiz installing works at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles, Container Gallery in Santa Fe, the Lowe Museum in Miami, and 

I am also is a FAA Certified and Part 107 Licensed drone pilot and shoots freelance video and photo at www.sokoldrone.com.
